Day 1: City of origin – Sao Vicente (Mindelo)
Arrival at Sao Pedro airport on the island of Sao Vicente. Visa formalities, pick up and transfer to the hotel in the center of Mindelo.
Mindelo is the cultural and intellectual capital of Cape Verde and the Windward Islands. A colonial style city where we can contemplate the architecture of the nineteenth century while sipping a coffee among the many terraces or stroll through one of its permanent markets. We can also visit many museums and listen to the best live music in the country.

Day 2: Mindelo – Porto Novo – Ponta do Sol. TREKKING COVA – PAUL.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning transfer to the port of Mindelo to take the ferry to the neighboring island of Santo Antao. Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular places in this corner of the world. The island of Santo Antao contains dramatic landscapes of indescribable beauty. A terrain between volcanic and tropical that favors areas with impressive valleys. We will find canyons with water flowing all year round, banana plantations and other landscapes with long jagged walls and deep ravines.

Arrival at Porto Novo and transfer to Cova, an ancient volcanic crater of more than 1 km in diameter, today used for cultivation. From this point, we will start a spectacular descent through the Paul Valley. The greenest valley in Cape Verde, it is surrounded by imposing steep rocks and a bay of coconut trees. On old mule trails, we will walk through impressive tropical vegetation such as sugar cane, mango and dragon trees. Finally we will see a grogue distillery. Lunch included. Return to Ponta do Sol and rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Ponta do Sol. TREKKING ESPONGUEIROS – COCULI
Breakfast. In the morning transfer to the village of Espongueiros for another spectacular downhill trek to the village of Coculi. We will pass through the Lagoa plateau and descend with views of spectacular ravines and canyons to the village of Caibros before making the last and most gentle part of the trek to the final destination, Coculi. Lunch included at the end of the hike.
Transfer to Ponta do Sol and rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Ponta do Sol. CRUZINHAS TREKKING
Breakfast. In the morning we will make, perhaps, the most spectacular hike of the whole island. We will walk the path that separates the fishing enclave of Ponta do Sol with the village of Cruzinhas. The hike runs along the cliffs of the west coast of the island in a winding path of gentle ups and downs. The trail passes through the villages of Fontainhas, Corvo and Formiguinhas in a contrast of landscapes ranging from the blue of the sea, to the green of the sugar cane crops, passing through endless browns and grays of the ever-present volcanic rock. Picnic lunch included. Arrival at the lodge located on impressive cliffs overlooking the ocean, an idyllic place for yoga sessions.

Day 5. Cruzinha
Breakfast. Relaxation day in Cruzinhas dedicated to 2 Yoga sessions (morning and afternoon).
We can relax in the swimming pool of Eco village as well as stroll through its terraces and own crops. Lunch not included.

Day 6. Cruzinhas – Porto Novo – Mindelo
Breakfast. In the morning transfer back to Porto Novo to take the ferry back to Mindelo. Arrival in Mindelo and transfer to accommodation.

We will then visit the Ribiera Bote neighborhood to learn about the social tourism project that the local community has promoted. It is about getting to know first hand the reality and the day to day life of a humble community from a social perspective. We will walk through the neighborhood with a young local guide, a neighbor of the neighborhood and we will discover different stores, services and we will finish having a coffee in one of the houses of the neighborhood. It is not about knowing the poverty but to see in-situ the reality and the potential of a non-touristy neighborhood of Mindelo.

Day 7. Mindelo – Sao Pedro – Mindelo TREKKING Praia de Salamansa
Breakfast. In the morning we head to the beach and neighboring village of Salamansa in a trekking of maximum 2 hours, to know the Similis project, which together with the local community of women is dedicated to cleaning the beaches of plastics to transform them into threads and weave various products such as bags, purses and all kinds of items, offering the visitor and tourist who visit Sao Vicente to obtain a souvenir that brings social and environmental value to the island. Return to Mindelo.

Breakfast. At scheduled time transfer to the airport to take flight back to Spain.
